in the shade of garden flowers...

it was a very warm summer day! tippi and farfar spent most of the day in the shade of the zinnias, nasturtiums and poppies sipping peach nectar and planning a garden village picnic. they decided fresh fruit salad, carrot bread and sun tea would make for a very enjoyable feast. tippi and farfar had a lot of gathering and preparing to do! ~if you would like to make some refreshing iced tea in your backyard, this is all you need: a glass jar, cold water, a few teabags and a warm sunny spot! let your tea brew in the sun until it looks nice and brown. just add ice! other additions might include; sugar or honey, lemon and orange slices or fresh mint leaves... just what you need on a hot summer day.
